Why Study TOB?

Although faith is a gift (CCC 1815) once it is received there is a hunger within our bones to know the eternal ever more deeply. The Catechism describes this aching hunger for intimacy (CCC 27) with God not simply as an "emotional" feeling but a reasonable and intellectual (CCC 132) understanding that needs to be studied.
We believe that formation in the Word and scholarly interpretation will only advance one's faith, affirm their moral compass, and articulate their reasoning for the holiness.
